My version of the un-twisted, un-rolled, un-torus.
You think I am on to something ?

Wow, that's great. Too bad it's full of jpeg artifacts.
Any chance of seeing the code? It would be cool to make it into a macro so
you can specify different lengths, width, etc...
Funny guy. :P

This imagage shows the willingness of the artist to explore new ways in
his art. But also shows that in his mind he's completly not ready for it
yet. There are strong signs to prove this, in this image.
A horizontal line, dividing the{unknown) black in two not equally wide
area's and thus forming a horizon. What will be behind it? A new horizon
to explore. But then there is the black to the left an right sides of the
line.
This leads us to the "do not pass" road sign. In the artists subconscious
there is still something that prevents him to cross the line.
To give himself a feeling of safety in this new area, something to relate
to, in his colour scheme he goes back to his succsesfull Black&White
period.

Maybe on heavy drugs? Why using an un-torus? Wouldn't it be easier to
use a few hundred stacked cylinders?
S**t! My beer ran dry. Got to fetch some new from the cellar...

But can you make an un-twisted, un-rolled, un-torus while keeping the
two ends together? Wrap your mind around that one!

Then it would be a de-un-twisted, de-un-rolled un-un-torus.

Have you considered doing it in black to match the background color?
