Here is an image I made of a Susan board. Susan is a simple game that I
found in a shareware library for Macintosh. (In fact, the InfoMac Hyper
Archives still has it. All the textures are from the standard libraries,
plus checkers.inc.

Any comments?

Thanks. Do you think the wood needs more texture or that I should up the
frequency?

The use of checkers to get that fancy tile pattern is neat!

No idea what game that is. This is good, but now :-) a suggestion for
improvement: randomize the translation of textures on those hexagonal things
instead of just rotation changes. I agree about the woodgrain being large,
makes the board appear small. The light and dark shifts of the game pieces
makes me want to find some colored glass and place it over things of varied
brightness to see if they do that irl. I'm sure they must though.

You can thank TonyB for compiling the work of Shiro Nakayama and posting it in
p.b.s.-f. on January 16. I use it a lot and the standard checkered plane is
almost out of my vocabulary.

Good call on the tiles individual textures. I forgot to add that bit. I'll work
on that wood pattern, to.

Well done. I can't help thinking about how much it might weigh for some
strange reason.
