Hi,

It's not completly finished, but I like to hear your comments.
There is a compressed tga version (1280x1024) at www.beryllium.nu/~remco
and the source is there too.

I want to make a statue in the centre of the temple and in the holes
under the roof (between the vertical lines). Any ideas of creating them?

Can somebody look at the source, because the roof (the red plane) cuts
at a height of 16.5, but the top of the roof is 17.5 heigh. Is there any
explanation for this?

adding an area light with no shadow to add a bit of realistic sunlight :)

sPatch or hamaPatch would probably be easy enough to model a simple statue to
start and then use the noise feature on it to create several variations from
the one. Would be many many lines of pov script to include but for low detail
it could do well all around.

Explanation: you moved the planes to +x and -x after translating to 16.5*y,
this leaves the cutaway edges at roof top somewhat higher than the midway
height. Although I'm surprised it turned out to be exactly 1 unit. I didn't
recheck that myself.

Not trying to copy your temple or anything, but I did this temple a while
ago, and thought it might give you some ideas.

It's cool, I like the entrance and the top of the pilars.

I've the same question as Rick, where did you get that figure from? I
need an Zeus (Greek god) statue.

For those that want to know...the figure is actually from Lady.inc off
the pov site, and angel wings added to it...not exactly sure where I got the
wings.
  I also added a sword.

I think that Gilles Tran has a set of angel wings available in his
collection.
