Very much like one of mine from the previous round, one that could
acutally avoid a graphics program altogether.
pov { ray }
or...
pov {
ray
}
But if I am ever going to use it in my image (in any fashion) I will
need to be a POV-Ray object that does not have the words POV-Ray in it...

Isn't that repeating yourself? ;-)

I think people can use any colors they want.
If you have any specific ideas you are more than welcome to "steal" my logo
and make your own version of it. I would like to see it!

I'm not sure what you mean. Avoid a graphic program for viewing or for
creating the logo?
I think neither is possible because it is the exact representation of the
logo that is important. Not so much the colors, but the outline must be
exactly the same always.

Some people think a text logo is OK, others don't.
It's a matter of taste.

Really neat. (Coming from me, that's a _very_ appreciative comment).
Some rems:
* "-ray"'s "y" is not perfectly verticaly aligned on the right (visually at
least);
* compacttext1a.gif seems slightly blurred, probably due to anti-aliasing;
* I do not know if "-ray"'s "-" should be verticaly aligned on the left on
the "p" - or not;
* I do not know where the "TM" should go. An idea : make it square (scale)
and use it as a dot.
Povingly,
Philippe

I'm not sure what that's supposed to mean.
Not having anything positive to say, and thus not saying anything at all?
I'm just wondering.
