Perhaps with some kind of bubbly-looking texture overlapping it to make the "beads"
in the styrofoam. No CFCs I hope! :-P

No no, Bob, the wood looks fine to me: that must be your monitor again...
And yes: the box looks like it's been made of soft plastic. Good model,
IMHO.

As a dentist I can say that the box is beautiful, but the toothpicks are a
bit flat. The diameter of a toothpick should be triangular, and they should
be pointed, but with a rounded tip. The surface should be a little bit
rough.

I made a rough sketch, attached.

Perhaps as a Dentist you can explain why we are told not to use a sharp
metallic object to pick our teeth, but when we go to you that is the first
thing you stick in our mouths...

Horrible, sharp, hooked, pointy metal things...

This might lead to some gamma color correcting then. Oh no! I just had a
terrible thought. It's said that men have a high rate of color blindness. Not
a good thing when this raytracing stuff is your main interest. Been a while
since I've gone to the optometrist, I better ask about that when going for my
next pair of glasses.
Oh wait. Maybe you have the color blindness instead? No one else has disproved
or confirmed anything about the green tinted wood color.
Whew! Oops, I didn't mean it like that. heh-heh-heh

That's because all dentists are sadists. They just want to do it
themselves.. ;-)

Yeah I see you're point, when I look at the tooth picks that actually came
in the box the images are quite similar, but maybe these are just rubbish
tooth-picks, I'll give it a more stereotpyical look, I think, but that means
re-positioning all the tooth-picks (Moray is amazing but POV will always
have its advantages over everything!). Anyway I'm off to have a go at that
new tooth-pick (what an exciting life I live).
