Here it is, as a work in progress. This is my excursion into
blob-character making, and except for the lack of hands, I think it
worked out rather well. By the way, this is supposed to be a character
in a "Beast Wars: Transformers" episode. I didn't like the show much as
it was too similar to "Power Rangers" for my tastes. I did, however,
love the visual "style" the show has. It seems to be mostly made up by
the use of textures to augment or suggest actual geometry. By the way,
I could use some suggestions on the hands. I'm drawing a blank (blob
:).
Comments?
Enjoy!

Great image. I'd suggest making some simple hands, 3-4 fingers basically
resembling the arm, and putting some HUGE weapons in them.

I'd put them on the end of the wrists...

I would use the last arm plate as a sort of hand guard and have the hands
underneath them but have the fingures sticking out maybe from the last joint
on....

Nuts to the hands....maybe a HUGE battle axe and a killer pulse gun (like in
Eraser...). To tell me, what is it like being one of the POV masters?
great work and nice website.

I was thinking about the same sort of thing. Like a continuation of the
arm shield into a sort of hollowed out curved cone, like a hypodermic needle
point with fingers underneath.

Me thinks the face needs work... Otherwise jealous...
I thought the "Beast Wars", "Beast Machines" were great and came nothing
close to power rangers... )=
I have followed "Mainframe" shows since i first saw "Reboot" A year ago... I
love the work that comes out from their team... I look forward to the return
of the "Beast Machines" episodes ( september in US ) and a feature film
"Gulivers Travels" to come to IMAX soon...?
My only grief w/ the Mainframe team is they have a habit of not finishing a
story...
i.e.. ReBoot, War Planets,,,

Nah, been done. Nice, explosive thought, though.

I don't know. Never met one.

You are all very strange. Inventive, but strange. Hypodermic needles? *shiver*
Thanks for the suggestions.
