Damn you're good with that blob stuff!
Do you have a special way of going about modelling these things?
The concrete/pavement textures are quite realistic.
Please refrain from posting any more photographs here ;-)

I actually have, although it's not quite done.

Door doesn't open. It's just a bump_map. I suppose I could do opening doors,
but I'd have to model the interior. :(

Oh, i will. ;)

I can say this, he has more talent than me.

Wow. This is impressive. The modelins is superb as always, but the whole

As everyone else has said -- very nice work. And astonishing -- I once made
mashed potatoes with blobs, I can't imagine doing a scene like yours..
kudos.

Hey, don't forget me! I am also 17. :-)
I don't do much "art" though, mostly I play around with adding features
to POV-Ray and writing simulations.

Well, as a fellow 17-year-old high school student, this will be my first and
last post to this thread since for now on I am now going to have to hang my
head in shame for the rest of my life. I've been working with POV for
almost a year and I can't begin to fathom how you constructed such a
magnificent model...and with blobs! If you say you hand-coded the entire
file I'm going to have to shoot myself;)
I wonder what breed of images you could make with a professional package
like 3DS or Lightwave?
Keep up the good work,
-Chris-

I think that he has shown that it doesn't take a
"professional package" to do "professional work".
It is not the package, it's the person. Good
training helps, patience help, understanding helps.
I could have all that and a bag of chips and not be
as good as this.
