FYI, Gravity can do the same. It even has a backup utility that will save
all settings and newsgroup data to a single file. I used that to move
from one computer to another.

And Gravity will accepts as many server entries as you like. So what
Thomas wants is very well possible, but would store all data for that
server (even if two of them are the same) in a separate folder.

If you've tried Agent as well, can you tell me if I should have chosen
Gravity instead? It's too late now (with almost 500 MB worth of
news.povray.org in Agent format) but still I am interested.

I'm still in doubt. I had first registered Gravity, and used that for a
long time, until it became slow on large message bases (4000 - 5000
messages) and when my outbox grew larger. That was on a P90 though.

I moved to Agent (not the free, the registered one), which was quite
snappy, but missed a lot of the advanced features of Gravity. I saw a new
version of Gravity, and tried that, and decided to try Gravity for a few
months. I'm still very satisfied, althiugh it has a few minor bugs (e.g.
"go to article" goes to wrong one if in a different newsgroup, but
retrying will fix that). It only should know how to read these

version).

By ISO-89551 characters are you referring to the international standard for
representing every language on earth? I know that Microsoft Office 2K comes
with the fonts for displaying these characters, if they are the same as the
ones you are talking about.
