Here's a cute fuzzy widdle tiger for you to wook at. :)

This model has evolved into the test scene for most of the export
programs I've been doing for Animation Master, and I've finally started
writing new uv mapping code for bezier patches that allows me to do this
with POV. You might notice that there's a few problems with the
mapping, mainly around some patch edges. Still need to work on that.

It uses type 2 bezier patches in a modified version of the old
superpatch that supports 4 uv vectors instead of 2. Time for parse was
5 seconds and trace took 1 minute 55 seconds at 800x600, AA.03.

More than you wanted to know? Probably. :)

Can't claim they are endangered after this.

The map edges aren't too noticeable, the lit up eye is. Wouldn't shine like
that at this angle would it? Anyway, with this in a scene and not so close the
texturing offset might go completely unnoticed. Looks like you need a slight
tilting forward for the model though since the hind leg paws appear to be sunk
in a bit.

I think you found everything. :)

The reason why the eye looks like it's lit up is that I'm still working on the
specular_size matching in the exporter, so what you're seeing is a very large
highlight. His feet aren't quite aligned yet either...I have another model with a
bone setup that looks a little more normal.

That's one impressive tigger! Perhaps somewhat overfed though. He hasn't been at
those
urban dragons again has he?

looks so far so good, to 'smooth' tho, how about a mega fine bump map, or a
fur macro?
