My additions to the inverted reflective surfaces...

Top... Superellispoid... Particularly slow for some reason...?

Bottom... Torus...

Both use media to give nice color to them.

The torus one looks an awful lot like a praying mantis face on.
'superellipsoid' can just be plain slow sometimes anyhow, and I think I also see
a face in that one too.

What is an inverted reflective surface? Or do you just mean the object has
inverse and is reflective, in which case hollow does the same effect and you
mean it's another "internal reflection" post.
Anyway some wierd effects...

Inverted was not the right word... but... I like the sound of it better...
Yes it is just an inside on the outside of the camera "internal"
I still like inverse meaning backwards or upside down...

Unless you're using media or atmosphere, you shouldn't need either inverse or
hollow.

Both images use media...

Actually i think that the inside out reflective torus only worked w/ hollow...
otherwise the inside of a shape will not reflect any color...
all the color coming from light not an actual pigment...
