I was trying to use a scattering media to make some clouds but it took
forever to render even with method 3, so I thought up this trick. Instead
of using a scattering media I used an emitting media and a slightly offset
absorbing media. It's much faster than scattering, and though not quite
photo-real it looks pretty good. I'll post the source if anyone's
interested.

Nice. I'd post the code if I were you, as the rest of these guys'll bug you
forever if you don't. :)

Science is merely a method of gathering data and information.
Science *cannot* prove facts.
It can only provide theories that fit given data.
Technology is merely Science applied to common situations.
Technology is used for both good and evil.
Society is a framework mostly dependent on the willing participation of it
subjects.
Kingdoms and dominions come and go, none are eternal.
In the end, Society, Technology, and Science do not matter. Only the actions
and choices of the individual will matter. <><

Some look very nice ( in particular the two larger in the top left )
Others look rather blob like... Maybe just oddly shaped...

The edges look good, but the interior has some unreal splotches.
Perhaps you could make them smoother, or avoid it by making whiter
clouds.

Did you say your system clock sets itself back a day late when you reboot?

I think it could potentially look a lot better. IMHO the change here is too
sudden and the shading does not seem to be consistent; the clouds in front have
bright parts visible while clouds at the back-right do not. Of course 9/10 of
POVing is fiddling with parameters.
