Who wouldn't be interested? The undulating floor is both good and different.

Yes! Would love to see the macros.

I am! I'll wait and see what I can do with them. What I am after is a kind
of texture for a floor that consists of parallel rows of large stones with
little spacing and lacking real regular dimensions (if you get me).

They look very good to me and yes I too would like to see them. I would
even be willing to host them on my web page for you so that they get
better exposure - if you are interested. I can later transfer them over
to the TAG's Macro Library when it goes online.

I'll post in p.b.s-f later this week (Got sport every evening so little
rendering time)
The wall will work in the official version, the floor is superpatch/megapov
only.

I'm not sure I get what you mean , but wouldn't that be easier with a height
field?

p.b.s-f later this week. I'll put them on my web page when I update it.
(Should be sometime
today)
As for the link from your website and place in the Macro library, I would be
honoured.

Now re-reading my post it seems very unclear to me too!
What I am after is a floor with long rows of stones having equal widths but
lengths differing slightly and randomly. Like:
-------------------------------------------------------
| | | | | |
-------------------------------------------------------
| | | | | |
-------------------------------------------------------
This would result in rows of stones that are all different from each
other....

Not too hard. I did something similar for a macro to create a distant city.
If I get time I'll write a macro up for you.

Now before I set you off to make a macro just for me: would that mean that
if I use it to make a floor B ten time the size of another floor A, the code
to parse will also be ten times larger?
Maybe I was thinking of a texture rather, like the 'flagstone' texture, but
then giving a result like I described. That would not increase the number of
objects, I understand?
A macro is something I can imagine of what it is doing; a texture is beyond
my grasp...
