One object, three light sources. Plain white but mostly reflective texture.

original image 800x600 2hrs22m MegaPov0.3 (post-processing to increase
saturation/brightness of the colours, but the currently rendering 1600x1200
version [rendering on a PII 266] has had it's textures tweaked so that the
post-processing is not needed.)

Justin,

your work continuously amazes me. I wish I had your inspiration.

Cool! Kaleidoscope mirrors? Where's the color come from?

As always a brave concept of colors...
Two questions first as i love your work so much i really want to know what
your inspiration is...? really your work is always so different...
Do you live on mars by chance...?
Secondly source request if it is not already posted...?
( think i will go check now.. )

Peter,

strange... I frequently feel the same about everybody else's work here :-)

This abstract almost never happened, I was feeling decidedly normal Friday
morning (no inspiration what so ever), had a lucky break lunch time inside
an isosurface.

The inspiration:- Friday afternoons are so dull my mind flips to a different
reality. (There just might some truth in this :-)

The goverment think I live in London, England, but each weekend I go back
home to my bunk at, H.E.M. building, Unseen University, Ankh-Morpork.
Running POV on HEX is an interesting experience.

Cleaned up source attached.

Three offset lights, one red, one green and one blue. Shadows and
reflections within the isosurface provide the colour mixing.

Ryan,

sent zip file containing both sources via e-mail, please let me know if it
doesn't get through.
