I have been gradually upgrading older images
now that I have 128ram.
This is one I'm always coming back to.
The object in the rear center is based on the
"transfer resistance" device invented in 1947,
which later became the transistor (correct me
if I'm wrong).
I used to think it looked pretty good. Now I
see that it needs a lot of work.
This is not properly documented as I only have
the incs on this box. Everything else is on my
other box or on zip drive.
The inspiration for this somewhat odd picture
was a photo I saw of an early Apple II.
I do not use an Apple.

I think this looks like a fun image, Peter. My only humble suggestions
would be to modify either the texture of the apparatus' enclosing box or
change the lighting so that edges of the box are more apparent. Also,
adding a background would enhance this already nice scene.

Thank you for responding Alan.
No doubt my last minute decision to change the
background to white from black was a bad idea.
I'm working on a version which is a full desktop.
Here is a photo of the transistor object.
I would really like to update my little
version of it to a stand-alone object. Maybe MegaPov
and some of it's features will help.
Peter
I remember seeing that on PBS. Their research partner stole the idea and
got the big bucks. Or something like that anyway.
