The POV-Ray Rorschach test, hmm?
Well, my feeling is: confused. It looks like I'm looking at an island,
but somehow it looks like I should be seeing more there than just a
rock. It looks like something's draped over a nub of rock on the left
end. Sick as it seems, the island actually reminded me more of a
close-up floating turd at first than anything else.
Other than that, emotionally I find the amount of red and gold in the
sky is a tad disconcerting; I liked the original better for sheer
beauty, though I guess that's not entirely what you were going for here.
As I thought in the prototype image: Excellent clouds and sun rays (they
look quite real, and I've seen my share), not-so-good water but a
fantastic great color for it.

First, one word:
Wrong
Then a few seconds later: "Red sky at morning, sailors take warning."

I live in Norway. Not too many R.E.M. shows playing here... But I saw them
on the "Monster" tour a few years ago. Oh dear, I'll never forget that
evening! And they had Radiohead as support, before they went bestselling.
Just an idea: An informal ray-tracing contest. Render your favorite song by
any known group.
Simen.

I had a strong feeling this is what earth will look like in the end, when
the known laws of physics will break down. Gravity first...
Very good, it gives me the shivers. Very, very nice clouds...

Mick
This makes me feel asthough I'm asleep. It has that
real/unreal quality to it that you only get in dreams or
when reading and making the scene up in your head.
Nice work, keep em comming.
