Nice picture!

You might want to lift the nose of the X-Wing a bit since at it's current
attitude it will splash (physics always wins ...)

It's done then. It looks good, and the really computer-generated feel is there..
as is the quality and thought behind it.

The pilot knows this. It looks bad right now, but he was pulling up as I was
rendering. He'll be fine. Don't worry. (=

Yup, it's as done as it will ever be. Is the really computer-generated feel a good
thing? Just curious. Thanks for positive comments. (=

Hey, this was just what I thought when I saw the image: Given the attitude
and the usual speed of x-wings, there is *no* way this x-wing is not gonna
splash. No pilot in the universe would be able to pull that baby up, at
least, if they didn't install some new lateral maneuvering boosters ;-)

Johannes.

Sure seems that way. Could explain why the Tie pilot is withholding fire.
He/she/it is too busy maneuvering out of there. :)
I would like to see the terrain dropped a tad, and radiosity introduced.
BUT, then again I'm sick in the head. heh
...and he's finished with it. I've certainly been there!

If it is a good or a bad thing is up to the artist. in this case, I'd say you
weren't after realism, or you wouldn't have used an x-wing, would you? *laugh*

*I* am finished with it, but if you would like to add radiosity, and make some
cosmetic changes, please be my guest. I have no idea how to do this
(radiosity), unfortunately. Every explanation only makes me more confused about
how that thing works. If you would like to continue with the image I would be
honored to send you the source code. (=
