No one said it was a backwards country Lance. The implication of it being
sparsely populated in relation to the amount of developed land can hardly
be contested. You are the one who is being defensive towards something
you should instead cherish.

Considered by whom ? I personally hold the US in first place in that
regard. We are not a culture so much as we are the world. Ethnic and
social diversity is what this nation was made from and the policy is
as true today as it was 200 years ago. New York has more multi-cultural
inhabitants than your entire country has people. I am not saying this
is good or bad. I justs calls em as I sees um.

Great image Mike!

I like the water and the background image.

One suggestion that I would have is to lighte the insides of the
four upper drums.

Keep up the good work.

Cheers
Steve

Hehehe. Actually Australia is a place I'd like to visit. Especially north
western Australia, I hear its one of the more beautiful parts of the world. I'd
also like to visit The Great Bariar Reef and go hiking in the outback. I've
always liked traveling, Me and my parents lived in China for 3 years when I was
younger, by the way I'm 1/2 chinese, though I don't look it. We also live in
Malaysia for about a year and we've also visited Tiland for about 2 weeks. All
that was a LONG time ago though, going on 11 years, so I don't remember much,
but I'd like to get traveling again.

I don't know which is actually first. But your probably right about it being the
US. But I live in Canada and I would be surprised if it weren't a close second.

North Australia is an amazing place, and so is inland of course (but it's
mostly desert area, although of course you could go and see that chunk of
rock that everyone talks about so much ;-)

The rainforests here are amazing too, especially in the Bunya Mountain
regions, and also down south (what am I talking about? Australia *IS* down
south!!! ;-) on the Blue Mountain ranges...

The Great Barrier Reef is an incredible place, I really recommend it if you
ever get the chance :)

Actually, speaking of that, it somewhat reminds me of the effects in Riven
of the reefs... hey were very well done, looked to me like some kind of
depth density work too... Anyone know how that was achieved?

Nothing is a close second to New York. It's probably the primary hub for
visiting ET's. No one would notice, or care. :)

Yeah, I'd like to go there, too. My great-aunt lives near Sydney... It's
just so damn far from here!
