If you want it to look huge, try adding some recognisable small objects,
sychas a house or 2, ppl, whateve, just make them tiny, but recognisable.

will give your scene a sense of scale.

Today I've done a 3.5 hour trace of it for my desktop.  Radiosity
and all the trimmings, but not changed a thing.
