Well, getting a job in the 3D graphics industry would require some
experience with modellers.

It could use: shadows, reflection, an IOR other than 1.0 in the crystal,
and a little A-A. Hmmm, doesn't POV-Ray do those? The texture on the
band looks remarkably like an environment map - but POV-Ray doesn't do
that. curious.

Ah I see, so the textures are image mappings?
That would spoil the thing a bit when viewed from the pure "raytracing"
point of view (if there is such a thing): If you use your watch in a larger
model with surroundings, the watch will not reflect its surroundings.
Actually, it already shows in the picture: The watch does not reflect itself
anywhere. It doesn't reflect the black background either... (Nifty photoshop
work though!)
That, together with the suspicion about the same model from some website
makes it a little bit less "AWESOME" to me!

Xander! I didn't know you hung out here! ;)
Well, he had me fooled. I thought he had bought the model and rendered it in
TruSpace, without knowing how to set the aliasing/ raytracing. I was curious
as to how he learned the reflection mapping technique, and then failed to
apply it correctly.
Oh, well! I'll go make some serious mistakes now. Poof!

Its a good image, but I can't see WHY you are SCREAMING again.
As for the Moray slap:
I don't use modellers, I think they are simply in my way, holding me back,
but... I don't go lashing out against the modeller packages just because I can't
handle them with satisfaction. I'd suggest you take the general hint from the
news group, and tone your attitude down a bit. 100% is a good start.
