I made this scene about 5 months ago, and I wonder if there is anyone
out there willing to render a similar quailty scene WITH photons. It
took 2 hours to render, and I lost the source, so you'll have to
re-create it yourself. I'm too lazy to render a phton version myself...

Sphere, cone, plane, text... MAN, I thought I was lazy!

But it's GLASS! Glass never makes for a poor render, same goes for
reflective stuff :)
Funny, the picture makes me think of the thrill it was long ago to see
computer generated glass. It definately would work wonders to be put
through all the newer raytrace possibilities available now. Photons,
spectral dispersion, reflection blur, focal blur, to name a few.
But it still looked neat to me, if only for nostalgic reasons.

No-no, I'm not saying it's a poor image, really. But the coding time would
be something like 5 minutes.
As for the render time at suggested settings... Come on now! Would somebody
finally make a fast computer?!

BTW, one of my favourite images in the "Imaginary Worlds" IRTC round was a
b/w image with a plane, 2 boxes and a sphere. Simple, but aesthetically
pleasing.
