Not yet finished, but it looks good from this angle.
Everything is real detail. No bump- image- or other maps used. And to show
the amount of detail I've included a close-up ;-)

Stunning! That's gotta be by far the best POV-Ray Star Destroyer I've
seen yet. In fact, I'd be honoured if you'd consider submitting it to
Star Wars: The POV-Ray Collection
(http://www.ecs.soton.ac.uk/~dmb197/starwars.html) - I've got a SD on
there at the moment but it's just a wireframe conversion I did from a
3DS (I needed one in a hurry... :) ) and not particularly good in
close-ups.
Again, a very nice job. Any ideas for future SW-related projects?
Cheers,
D.

I don't think even Job would have had enough pacience to place so many objects.
What's the object count? How about some render stats?

39 frame level objects, 10 infinite. Those objects you see are really some
heightfields.
Parsing time:24 sec
peak memory used: 32.408.978 bytes
Rendered on a AMD-K6-2 333Mhz with 48 Mb RAM

I'd be pleased to send it when it's finished. But I've got little time
these days. It might take a while to finish and to minimize the file-size.
Should it be POV-Ray, or is Moray ok?

My next project will probably be a SuperStarDestroyer. Then ... Wait I'll
get TEGTVAV...
Allright, let see... An ATAT-walker, doesn't look too hard. Dash Rendar's
Outrider, quite a simple design. The DeathStar (both I, II and the
prototype)...
Quite a lot work to do still.
Oh, yes. I should also finish my Millennium Falcon.

Sheesh...
Download it from your local warez-pirate or something..
I had a student ex. here, but returned it... It wasn't worth the disk-space. And
it required me to use a MODELLER :-(
(no, i didn't rtfm so I can't say If I can do it in any other way, no comments
on me, ok?)
