It's definitely better than the others. It looks like you used radiosity
(the black artifacts in the corners), but it is really very much improved.
It looks very real now.

I agree with Rudy in that this has improved greatly since the first posting.
You have captured the essence of making a visible lamp in pov that many only
wish they could do.

Two last little suggestions I have, and they are minor points, is that you
make the drawer unit just a little smaller in width and depth as the lamp
shelf (which implies making it wider and narrower than it is now). You
don't need to remake it just rescale the whole thing in two directions.
This would make it look a little less like an accident is going to happen
to the lamp the first time someone leans on the end of the shelf. The cell
door handle also looks a bit to bright, almost a lens flare there, and
could be toned down a bit.

Or you can ignore me completely and move on to your next great work of
phsycotic art. :) What's next ? How about an electro-shock therapy room ?
Or experimental brain surgery ? Or ...

Thanks Rudy, Yes I did use radiosity and I was wondering, how DO I get
rid of those strange black spots?

Hi Ken, Thanks! I have to agree with you on the drawer size. I never
notice these things when I'm looking at my own work, only after someone
tells me. That's why I love this newsgroup.

Oh no, I would never ignore you. Actually, this cell is for a computer
game I (and others) are making. I made a post a while ago in
povray.general about starting up a computer game project. It's really
taken off since then :-) Thanks again (as always) for the advice :-)
