Here is just the VERY beginnings of a scene i am working on in Moray
3.1. the Finished scene will have more robots in a Bar type
background. this is just the first of MANY robots that is going to be
in the final scene. In this one, Robot and R2D2 are just standing on
a marble floor... All i need right now is just suggestions on the
colors and of the textures on the robots please. be kind this is the
second Big scene i have tried working on.... (Robot (the bigger one
from Lost in Space) is 22 MB just by himself!)
Any comments and suggestions welcome

Whew, quite a few details. I don't think I'd be able to do that (that
isn't saying alot though :-) ). The colors seem A-OK to me. The only
thing I might change is the blue on R2D2, maybe make it more of an aqua
blue? I dunno, I haven't watched the movie in a while... good job.

Very cool !
The blue on R2 as Kyle mentioned is off color from what I remember.
I recall more of a cobalt or darker blue than what is shown here.
Try a color closer to this:
rgb<0.2235,0.2235,0.7686>
Didn't Will Robinsons robotic friend have a little bit larger dome on
top ? This one seems a little smallish. Otherwise it looks fantastic
and I have no suggestions to make. - er the marble floor needs work :)

oh yes, that looks more like it. (not aqua, what was I thinking?) Time
to dust off the ol' VCR I guess.

Thats going to be some scene when complete, wish you all the luck.
A shimmering navy to cobalt blue like Ken said sounds good for R2, that
violet colored metal of Robot might could use a bit of graying out, more
of a steel gray. Wish I had seen a recent color episode, only b&w
though.
I do know the voice-light is red when he talks. Might look good in a
still image to have it uttering something :) Don't know about the torus
size as Ken mentioned, but could be something to do with perspective
here.

I am working on a Grayer robot but the Torus head will stay as is.... and
the voice box will be red when finished
