O.K. Here they are for comments, bashing and in general any
suggestions.

The city of Richmond, Metaphaze (see:
http://user.aol.com/castlewrks/metaphaze/cities/cityrich.htm).

My newest addition to the world of Metaphaze. The orange glow and deep
shadows is intended to represent early morning over the city.

I really like your work in general but choosing a morning scene is fine
trick. It's amazing how realistic a city can look a number of
architectural objects.

I wished I had had a tool like Povray back in the times when I created
my AD&D worlds. Now I have really no time for this kind of fun.

One comment I have. The fog looks odd in a way. Can put my finger on it
put it looks too bright. I will keeps my eyes open the next time I see
one on my morning rides to work. :-)

Keep on working!

Marc

It's definatly in keeping with your usual quality of work. I really
like the first one of the two. I have to agree with Marc about the
brightness of the fog. Right at the horizon it's about two intensities
too bright when averaged against the amount of fog that's present in
the foreground and the deep blue color of the non hazy sky. It's
a little too contrasting and takes attention away from the scene.

Once again - Excellent stuff.

Imitation is the highest form of flattery. I think that my work needs to have
a little bit more "Becraft" in it. I tend to spend a lot of time modelling an
object and then throw it in the viewer's face. I like your style of subtlety
and grandeur at the same time. Excellent composition, too.

If you take the fog suggestions you might try rotating the ground fog
downward on the anti-sun side, or maybe add transparency.
Most likely will need a second, darker, ground fog to compensate,
rotated upward on the anti-sun side.
