Here's a dome I made with the dome generator plug-in for Moray. I really
like this one!

  Pagoda dome ?

May I inquire as to how you made the background for it ?
I'm guessing you use media here but it whatever the method
that would make a great shag carpet texture or proceedure
depending on the method used.

Like the dome a lot. The background looks like a turbulent pigment map and
corresponding
normal map to me.

The executable version is too much dirty (shame shame shame) and I dare not
release it, the sources are free if you want them (VC++ version 5.00)

Nope : its a [smooth] triangle mesh.

Beside the technical part the work by shinzaho is great

I have a problem with slow connections --> I don't have the courage to
download the latest release of Moray.
One question though : Are there many Moray plug-ins out there. Is it easy to
write one ?

Cheers !

Anyway you should : Moray's great and only 3 Mo, Pov is 6 Mo!

>One question though : Are there many Moray plug-ins out there.

Not so many (you can check the moray web site)

>Is it easy to write one ?

This plugin interface is pure genius : I wrote my first plugin in a few
hours, including the time to discover how it works !
(in fact there are two ways to write a plugin :
1) you need only spinners or gliders to input the needed values : extremely
easy
2) you need more (combo, check box...) : easy
