Don't know if this link works.  I had to upload on a friend's server because
of the size.  Anyway, it uses the same codec as the 'Stupid Bee Jokes' I
posted back in June, so if you could see that, you should see this one.  As

What kind of player do I need to see this? Is there a special codec that
needs to be installed?

It is MPEG-4, so you need an MPEG-4 codec.  Supposedly current versions of
Divx codec support MPEG-4.  Alternatively, QuickTime also supports MPEG-4 on
Windows and Mac OS, and there is ffmpeg on most Unix compatible systems.

It seems the server doesn't send the correct media type, but downloading and
playing does work.

Grrrrrrr... this is frustrating.  I used Quicktime Pro to export to .mp4,
because all the other file formats are too big ( uncompressed, the movie is
just shy of 300  megs in size).  I tried using Movie2Mpeg, but the program
kept puking.  I don't know what else to do.  It doesn't do me any good to
create a movie and upload it in a format that you have to do jump thru
hoops to see.  :(

I may try to send this film in to atomfilms.com; maybe they can get it in a
format that will work on their server (provided it's even accepted) and
everyone will be able to see it. :/

You should try to embeed it in a website an use an HTML object/embed tag.
You can copy it from one of the many pages that embed movie files.  Of
course you will need to set the MIME type to video/mp4.  Alterntively, try
to change the file extension of the file you currently have on the server
to mpg4. Maybe the server handles those correctly.

Well done.  My wife couldn't care less about this povray stuff, but she ran 
in here and started making high-pitch noises when she heard and saw your 
animation.  High-pitch noises are giddy positive feedback, she does that 
when she sees a cute kitty or something like that ;-).  She loves these 
funny-silly things.
