It's a nice style you've developed there, with the primer being "Bees". I
like it very much, really cartoonesque. The Soundtrack reminded me of Shrek,
there's one song which also plays with a distorted electric guitar...

Well done, I for my part hope you continue these series (and at some point
make a full-blown short, not only "one-liners"!).

Regards,
Tim

Thanks for the compliment. My wife looks at all the music gear lying around
the basement as "clutter", so I figure I better use it for something in
case she gets any ideas ;)

Thanks. I figure even if the plot sucked and the animation was lame, the
fact I used ladybugs will score brownie points ;)

Thanks for the positive feedback. At this stage I'm doing the smaller
animations to develop and hone a process that I can use for future large
works. I want to work out general animation issues like voice sync,
recording, editing (not to mention script writing & storyboarding), as well
as POV-Ray related things like developing a walking algorithm or reusable
code for eye movement, mouth shapes (for dialog), etc. There's a lot I
still don't know but hopefully after these baby steps I can move on to more
sophisticated things and eventually a full-fledged feature (well, okay,
maybe a long short).

Well, I have seen the movie, and I like it a lot. Keep up the great work.

However I'm really getting sick of MP4 on my copmputer (nothing to do with
the animation, simply a stab at mp4 itself). With the newest version of
Quick Time I can hear the sound track, but can't see the movie, and with
divx player I can see the movie but can't hear the soundtrack.

Yeah I think you are right. Just discovered no MP4 video will play on the
new version of quicktime anymore. I'll reinstall it and see what happens.

That's so funny! :D

I really like the way how the dialog and clipping takes its time (and
even have big pauses) rather than rushing though the story. So many
animations in the IRTC (but not all) put a lot of action into a very
short movie, and it just gets confusing and doesn't look professional.
This one on the otehr hand is put together very nicely!

I just noticed how the music stops abruptly right when he says "bowling
ball". It's a subtle effect, and it's commonly used, but it's things
like that that really adds something to the scene and shows that you
know what you're doing... :)
