Hi,

I made a torch with media flame some days ago, and decided to try
to animate it too after seeing Warps torch.
It runs a bit fast because avi2mpg only allowed 23.x frames minimum (it
was rendered for 20 frames/s)

(I hope this time my newsreader does'nt split the file...)

Very nice! Though that purple/violet at the bottom is a bit strange.
Any chance to see the code?

What do you think is strange about that? At least candles flames ARE
blu-ish at the bottom. I don't know exactly about torches (I don't have
any here for reference, we have electricity over here *g*), but it should
be similar. Of course it also depends on what exactly is burning(oil,
wax, wood...).

I posted it in binaries.scene-files

I wouldn't expect the blue and orange to blend over but to be more distinct.
I might be wrong, as we moved and now have central heating, no stove-heating
anymore. And as you said electricity does not help either :-)
