Here is the logical continuation of my highway picture (visible here :
http://news.povray.org/povray.binaries.images/thread/%3C466b07f8%40news.povray.org%3E/

)

It was quite simple to obtain an animation, but rendering was long
(~15-20 min per image, mainly due to parsing). Two files are available
here :

http://tuabiht.chez-alice.fr/anim/index.html

so that at least one should be visible on your prefered video player.

PS : if any mencoder expert is around, I would be happy to know how to
get a mpeg4 video which can be read with windows media player (I have
not succeeded sor far).

Cool - really looks good, it's amazing what animation can do to the "feel"
of a CG scene. My only complaint is that it is not long enough! ;-)

I agree with scott; too short.

Sources? :)

Fantastic!

I've had the same problem. I couldn't even get the official DivX player to play
them on my windows machine at work. I've used the msmpeg4 or msmpeg4v2 codec
instead when necessary, but I don't know any good reason why mpeg4 doesn't work
on windows.
