I haven't tried that. I don't feel like spending time on that right now,
as I've never yet seriously played around with radiosity, but I can post
the source and let others experiment...

That's the look I tried to get. :)

I still think it need something more, but I think that's due to my poor
lighting...

Yeah, I considered crystals where the glows are, but I was just lazy, so
I haven't done anything about it yet... :)

Dunno...

I agree. But I'm not sure what would be a good way to light up the
tunnel. Lighting has never been my strong point...

Thanks!

Okay, I'll post it when I've cleaned it up...

I think less is more would be better, have some point lights with limited
radius (a little more than the width of the tunnel) spaced even along the
roof/walls just far apart that there is a dark patch between the lights,
stick another light on the front of the camera at about 60% brightness of
the others with about twice the range.

for better effect make the cam & cam light lurch very very around slightly
(as though its attached rigidly to front of mine cart going over less than
perfect track)

also the fog in the distance needs to be black, and have an ambient of 0 for
all textures

if this was a still I would try doing something with rad, but that's prolly
a bad idea for an anim (esp if you want to see the results anytime soon!)

I think Ryan Geiss' Monkey plugin for winamp is cooler. ;)

I like the glows (how did you make them?) Another idea, how about adding
some spot lights point out into the tunnel from the front of the car, and
darken the ambient light.

Henry, glows are made using Megapov instead of PovRay.

Cool, and it loops seamlessly, nice.
