I messed around with the glow.inc code a little bit to change particle
sizes. This magic wand and hat animation is basically the demo scene
magic.pov. I love this stuff. I need to see if I can use the hat as a
collision object next.

Hi Rick. I can only guess you're talking about the specular highlight from
the point light I added so the objects could show up. Was supposed to be
just the ordinary kind of white tipped wand and it turned out
metallic-looking. If that's not what you see there then I don't know the
real question.

above the middle of the wands body, and one point  it seems to have some
black bits above it
