Now that I can render this ship with an "accurate" normal and 4D noise, I
gave it a shot.
This is the evil mother ship. What do you think? Be honest and please give
suggestions.

The mothership looks like it has a too
big cockpit. It doesn't look like a
mothership, more than a new ship
itself. Try adding a fighter-ship for
scale and some more smaller details
(like rodes, little spheres, box, just
something to make the hull uneven and
obvious that its a lot larger, cause who'd
need a millimeter-sized-spherical part
on the hull?).
Otherwise very nice!

I was going to say the same thing about this not looking like a mother ship.
It looks awesome, but it looks like a fighter to me. Usually mother ships
are huge, and have tons of small windows. Maybe though, the mother ship is
a small ship, and it's fighters are tiny computer controlled fighters.
There are always ways to justify anything you want. :-)

A word I seldom use anymore: freaky. And very animated...without moving
parts. :-)
The dark windows are something I'd probably change were it me doing this
ship, I kind of like to see in at least partially. Not neccessarily details
but an interior glow from various lights.
I also must say that the window sizes suggest a smaller craft than a "mother
ship" to me too.

It looks cool. When are you going to see some more action?
All the best
Fidel.
