Is this divx5?? It plays without problems on the divx4.02 that I have installed
here...

With divx 5, sometimes that happens to me when I click a place in the video
to jump there - the view screen doesn't change, or only changes by one or
two frames. But when I hit play it usually works.
Other people, tell me if you have the same problem; I suppose I could remake
it into an mpeg or something.

Same here.

Yes. I always advise using mpg to make sure that all people can see an
animation...

I love it how the balls roll through the cavities of the iso.
Really nice anim but I don't like the water (?) plane. It would be better to
place the iso on a 'regular' plane so we could see the balls rolling off the
iso and ending up on the plane (if that's possible using your system).

I'm sorry guys, I don't seem to have any codec that I recognize except for
divx 5. Unless you all have "microsoft video 1"?
Or if anyone knows of a program that can take an uncompressed avi and turn
it into an mpeg, point me there. I no longer have the individual frames, I'm
afraid.

It would be easy to do; however, I did it this way back when I made the
animation for two reasons:
1. I could elliminate balls that had fallen below the water level, speeding
up the parse time a little bit
2. I hardly ever use the 'phase' keyword and I wondered what it would look
like with the 'waves' pattern in a normal with reflection. =)
BTW; I believe this was the 30th animation I made, and the first in which
balls didn't intersect. It was horrible rendering a hundred frames, and
watching it slowly render the next one, revealing two intersecting spheres,
over and over and over. That's why I haven't touched this in so long =)
That last little paragraph didn't really apply only to you, but whatever =)
