Can't think of any technical hints, but "wow".

Great work, but is the spinning necessary? I know it helps show that the
effect can be seen from any angle, but it's a bit dizzying.

Thanks! I think so too. :)

Not any more particles than before, just a different texture. The
texture is actually a simple cylindrical pattern aligned so it faces the
camera. Just as it was before. The trick lies in the fine tuned
turbulence and color_map, and that was I have improved in this
animation.

Ok. In what way?

Well written? I think it's rather messy. I can't even understand the
code myself! Every time I have to make some changes I first need to take
a few minutes to figure out what I was thinking when I originally wrote
the code...

Anyway, I'm really looking forward to seeing what things you and the
other beta testers can come up with. :)

Ok, I'll tone down the spinning then. :)

I'm also updating the blow-up animation. The one that use a picture of a
real building and - no spinning. :)

Really good, but the fact that the dust doesn't settle, but just disapears
spoiled this one for me.

Hm. The texture doesn't fit into the spheres correctly,
I can clearly see some "edges" there...

But the colors and turbulences look way better now!

You're right, but it's barely noticeable IMO. The question is if the fix
is worth the extra render time.

Thanks! :)

Interesting point. I'll see what I can do.

I'd say so! But it depends what you're after: a small and
fast demonstration or an advanced-working style animation for...
Hm. Star Wars Episode III? ;)

It depends if you're running for realism or just "tracing"
(though we all know that we're all actually trying to do both
at the same time...)
