No, all the colored dots are just artifacts caused by the high compression.

Hehe, yeah, right...

If I'm lucky they'll loop it a few times (even though it's not cyclic).

Well, I tried, but they asked me to make a version without it.

EXACTLY.
I still have dreams of setting up my own TV commercial business on the side,
with say a walking donut advertising for our local donut shop. I've also
thought of doing (offered to do) some pro-bono work for charities, and wondered
what the stations/networks REALLY want.

And is it really just any kind of AVI? Or did you have to use a program to
convert to NTSC-safe colors, etc.?

No, I'm not going to solicit MTV-E just yet.............

The "M" is obviously Gill Sans Ultrabold

Where did you get the object for the "tv" ?

No, it's a prism.

It's a heightfield intersection. The image I got from the MTVE website. I
then singled out the "tv" part and blurred it a little.

Ahh yes, who doesn't dream about using POV-Ray professionally...

I'm afraid I don't know, because MTV Top Selection is a special case:

"MTV's Top Selection is taking a giant leap into the twenty first century!
Gone are the days of studios and the tape machines, the show is now totally
designed, developed and transmitted from an ordinary PC."

No, it's not just any kind of AVI. You have to EXACTLY follow these
guidelines (I quote):

"We prefer these formats (avi, mov, swf, gif, jpg, bmp). If your file is not
in one of these formats, try to send it to us anyway, and we will have a
look."

Exclusionist bastards! No wonder the little guy can't make it in the
entertainment industry...

Hi Rune. Very good! I like that. Can I ask how long something like this
will take to produce?
