I went off on yet another tangent today.  This animation uses default
radiosity of MegaPov 0.5a.
I added 3 camera flashes to this short flyby to go along with the somewhat
rough flickering of the radiosity, I can only guess that I would have to use a
much higher count, pre-sampling, among other things to get a smoother lighting
for it.  This is just a basic idea sketched out, space cadet in the limelight
too, although a tiny, tiny guy.  Scaling has only been eyeballed.
240x180 res, 60 frames, about 2 hour render with +A0.2 +R2 +AM2 +J0.0

Thanks, it goes with this okay only because of the supposed lighting effects
which might be present.  Otherwise it would be pretty bad for a typical
animation when using radiosity as in this one anyway.
I've started a media atmosphere one now, skipping the radiosity, looks like
it'll be 8 hours to complete.

Now this really brings back some great memories. In July '94 I went to see
Metallica at the Blockbuster Pavilion in San Bernardino, California. They
played "One" (of course), and they extended the beginning part, with the
machine gun fire and soldiers yelling, for a long time. During that part
there were lots of brilliant white flashes of light, which I suppose were
meant to simulate grenades and/or muzzle flashes.  (The song only mentions a
land mine, but these flashes were in the air.) It was a special experience,
because I knew what was about to happen...
