So, Mike inquired about whether the vortex had been worked out and added to the
source code, and incorporated into a warp.
It's been a while since I've looked over that part of the source, but I recall
struggling with how to to replicate some of the vector coordinate operations in
SDL.
I'm also thinking that for something like an atmospheric storm, that having a
somewhat random distribution might be desirable, which may or may not be
something one can do with warps - but maybe they can with turbulence applied?
Or perhaps, given an array of 3D vectors, a #for loop could be used to add
instances of the vortex to a pattern in specified places...?
I am going to get some rest, and maybe the brain will return from holiday.
Until then, maybe someone conversant with warps, functions, or just having an
intuitive idea could suggest an approach.
