Note that considering that 3.5->3.6 took two years, next version of POV-Ray
which as far as I can imagine will be 4.0 will take more time, so "temporary
fork" can mean important part of your life ;-)

Note also that apart new features MegaPOV contains fixes to the bugs found in
3.6 already. Not many and not very well visible to the enduser but real.
