I'm modelling a pill, the kind you can pop open and out spills lots of those
little white spheres. I've got the pill modeled, and the spheres as well,
but how can I write a macro that'll fill the inside of the pill with the
spheres without any intersections with the pill itself?

I suspect this is a "Hard" problem. You might try mechanically "pouring"
them in with Megapov.
Andy
I have never used any of these, but one of the linked macros is supposed to
fill a cylinder or box with spheres.
