I posted in the binaries also but I thought advanced users may remember
since you've probably been around for a while.

I used povray years ago I remember the big pre and post hype of I guess it
was 3.0s release. I wasn't great with it or anything but it was fun to play
with. Anyway there was a program that I used as a frontend modeler that I
liked better than Moray or any of the others. I'm wanting to get into
povray again but can't remember the program. I'm curous if it still exists
or what happened to it. The developer was making frequent updates but I
don't think it ever reached 1.0 during my use.

The name was something like povstb but I may be way off.
Used a red and blue title bar color scheme for the prespective
It wasn't PovLab.

Anyone have any clue as to what I'm rambling about?
Sorry for the duplicate post

It was called PovSB or POV-Ray Scene Builder. It is no longer in
development and the original website is gone. Last update to the
program was version 1.0 and stopped 4 years ago in 1998.

YES! Thank you that had been stuck in the back of my head for weeks.
Thats a shame it was a great app. Whats are the better ones now? I'm sure
thats a minor can of worms. For a newbie.

For a general POV-Ray modelling program Moray is the only one that
I know of that is still being actively developed and supported. It
has the greatest support for POV-Ray's newer feature sets and is
unquestionably the best in its class.
