I am using a .tga file and scaling substantially <6300,1000,4800>
The image is reversing itself, left to right, as the field is shifted in
relation to the camera
Anybody got any ideas.....
 have a feeling it may be in the specific tga format.

Where is your camera ?

I was thinking the same thing.
If the camera goes past 89.9999999 (whatever) degrees rotation round the x
axis if starting at <0,0,-1000>, for example, then the default 'sky' is kept
and twists the camera back around and upright again.
Shouldn't be so for anything which doesn't try to turn the camera upside
down, at least I don't think so.
