Anybody updated the Isosurface Patch to work with Windows version 3.1e?

Thanks.

The main problem is that we don't yet have source for the 3.1e version for
Windows. As soon as it's available, that problem should go away.

Only attempt this if you are a programmer-type or at least
experienced with using hex editors. I'd suggest making copies of both
the Superpatch and UVPov executables before proceeding to tinker with
them. This method worked for me and I can successfully use both
patched versions with POV-Ray for Windows v3.1e.

Out of curiosity just why is that ? The Pov team is usually very good
about releasing the source code in a timely manner but with this last
release there seems to be an abnornaly long delay in it's arrival.
Is Chris on vacation perhaps ?

I don't know. Maybe someone should ask Chris; I just haven't bothered
yet. The unfortunate fact is, I still don't have good docs for the 3.1e
superpatch either, so the 3.1e source isn't all I need for a release, but
it's a big part.
