I'm not sure I understand what shape you want to make, but some things
that may make life easier are:

- Use the local coordinates function to move the pivot point of the
cutting cube to a face. That may make it easier to position.

- Use more than one cube, for example one cube for each plane that you
want to cut away.

- If you know the coordinates of all the points of the final shape,
write a small POV include file and the corresponding UDO and use that.
