I would suggest you use point lights with a falloff value so the light
dims with distance, just position them near the mouth of the cave. Also,
use an ambient value of 0 in your textures and use radiosity to get more
realistic illumination, it will keep things in shadow from looking flat
and spread the light through the cave more realistically.
