I would just write a custom particle system...the liquid spray include
is too general, it is designed for just liquid sprays, and my particle
system patch wouldn't be much more useful. The glowing metal would be
taken care of by animating the ambient value. However, molten metal isn't
transparent, I don't know what you intend to get by putting lights in it.
If you want the glow of the metal to be cast on surrounding surfaces,
radiosity would be a much better solution.
