Dear Mr. Lutz,

first of all congratulations for this fine piece of software you've
developed. No doubt Moray is now the finest POV-Ray dedicated wireframe
modeller I've ever seen.
Nevertheless I would like to make two little sugestions-requests for
your appreciation:

1 - The little set of axis that shows up when one presses "local
coordinates" button should be scaled with the object (it's almost
invisible when it lays inside the objects) and should appear to every
selected object regardless the pressing of "local coordinates" button.
It would give the user the visual feedback of the actual orientation of
the object (for scaling purposes).

2-It would be great if there was a kind of "pseudo-commutative"
rotation possibility. By pseudo-commutative I mean what follows:
The object stands in a given place with a given orientation. The axes
attached to it points to some determinate directions. Many times the
user (reads me) wants to rotate the object of a determinate amount
around some axis but mostly often it will end up in some weird position
due the non-commutive nature of the rotations. Perhaps in that
circumstances the modeller could take care of the details and make what
the user desires.

Sorry for any english mistakes.
Sincerely,
H. H. Arnaut

Hi H. H. Arnaut, you recently wrote in moray.win:

Hmmm, but it represents the coordinate system of the object. It shows
where one unit is in the corresponding axis. It scales with the values
in the Local Coordinate system.

This would be useful but would lead to pretty heavy screen clutter,
don't you think? Or do you mean only display it for the selected
object, not for any others?

I'm sorry, I don't understand what you mean here. Can you give a
step-by-step example in Moray what you would like?

Perhaps an Arcball type rotation?
