Hi.
I seem to be unable to get a preview-image to be stored in my
mdl-files.
VIEW/CONFIGURATION/MORAY "Save thumbnail to MDL" is checked, but it
doesn't work. I rendered an image in pov and rendered to backdrop, but
nothing works. I even opened CoffeeCup.mdl which has already a
thumbnail embeded, saved it and the thumbnail was gone.
What am I doing wrong?
Did I miss something?
Bernd

I have tried several things, and am unable to reproduce this. The closest
I've come is to unselect the 'Preview' button on the 'Open a new scene'
dialog box (upper left corner).

Thanks for trying.
But no matter what I try, it just doesn't work for me.
No big deal, program runs fine. That's important.
But then again... it's such a nice feature...damn...

I have exactly the same experience, on two different computers, one running
under Windows ME and the other under Windows NT.
Only the mdl's coming with the program have thumbnails (except whale.mdl)

Ahh... thanks for the confirmation.
I thought it was only me, because sometimes I think, certain problems
just pop up to consume my free time ;-)
I'm running on Win2000 SP4, you on NT4 an ME ?!?
I think Lutz in also on Win2000, so I wonder if it works on his
machine.
Mhh.. Strange...

Hi Bernd Klenk, you recently wrote in moray.win:

The unregistered version does not support thumbnail display...

Nice joke ;-)
Now that I received my registration, I figured that out as well.
No more praying, tarrot cards, magical stones, I-Ging, or raising my
arms to the sky and crying: WHY ME? OH LORD WHY ME?
(No, not really)
Thanks for another good release of Moray!
Bernd
