Moray 3.2 crashed on me last night while I was playing with a glow, and
since then the Select/Create/Modify/Edit sidebar is gone. The view windows
take up the entire width of the screen. I tried to select the tabs from the
view menu, but to no avail.
This is a tad irritating.
I'll try to download Moray 3.3, but I wish I knew what was going on here..
anyone have an idea?
Simon

Nope, sorry, I don't have any ideas.
But on the subject of sidebars, why does Moray keep expanding and
contracting, seemingly at random, the transformation section of the
modify tab? It gets annoying when I have to keep expanding said section
of the tab to enter transformations.
Sometimes it contracts teh transformations section, sometimes it
contracts the materials section, sometimes it contracts all the sections,
and (fortunately) most of the time it leaves things well alone.
Lutz, were you aware of this, and do you want me to do some digging to
see if I can spot any patterns (although I've not managed it yet)
Bye for now,
Jamie.

I downloaded the new version, but the sidebar was still gone. I tried
deleting the .ini file in the hopes of resetting things, but it didn't
work. Eventually I just backed up all my files, did a complete and total
uninstall of Moray, and started from scratch. My bar is back! Yay!

Hi Simon de Vet, you recently wrote in moray.win:

Ouch. The next time that happens, you can do this:
- Close Moray.
- Start RegEdit.
- Navigate to HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\SoftTronics\Moray For
Windows\Settings
Delete that key (highlight the Settings part and press Del).
- Restart Moray.
- Lutz
