I have moray 3.2. How do I use the Galaxy plugin? I added a
galaxy object and tried setting different colors. But each time I
preview it, I just see black. I even put in a red plane to see if
I could see any 'invisible' objects. I don't see any galaxy.

Perhaps it could be changed so as soon as you drop in a galaxy
object you can preview it in Moray and see it.

Hi Chuck,

Well you should be able to see the Giant Cross that represents the
Galaxy center and if you render it, it should appear, however the
following could be wrong....

There are several reasons that the Galaxy may come out black.....
1). You don't have a Camera and light in the scene.
2). You haven't unzipped the Galaxy include files and put them in the
Povray include directory.
3). You haven't removed the version line in the moray.ini file.
4). You have put the galaxy include files in the Moray Povscn dir and
called
the scene galaxy.mdl. You can't do this as Moray will overwrite the real
galaxy.inc files.

Hope that helps, if not mail me the mdl file and i'll take a look at it.

Best Regards,

Keith

Got those.

Oops. They're in the Moray\Plugins directory.

I'll check that out too.

Oops again. I didn't know this.

Thank you for your suggestions.
