Is there a way to add my own textures to Moray's texture library so that
each time I run Moray I don't need to re-create my textures? IS it all in
the help - I did not see anything that gives me this option.

it's in the help file. i think it's in the tutorial part. basically, after
you make some textures you click on file->export in the material editor,
select the materials you want to include in the export, click export, and a
save dialog pops up and you can either add to an existing library or make a
new one. stir occasionally. let stand 5 minutes before serving. enjoy.

In addition to what Ryan said, I also add a set of draft textures
to MorayStart.mdl so that every time I boot Moray, those draft
textures are immediately available. The way to do this is to
boot Moray, add as many textures as you wish, and then save over
MorayStart.mdl.

Once you've done that, you'll want to either close and reopen
Moray or make sure to save the file under another name (to make
sure you don't add more stuff to MorayStart.mdl by clicking
ctrl-s).

Ryan,

I did this, but it doesn't allow me to 'add' more textures to an existing
.mtx file - it warns me that I'm about to overwrite it. Am I missing step
somewhere to allow me to add textures??

if your new textures have a new name, there should be no problem. also, isn't
there a texture->export option where you can append to an existing library?
